Vallabhaneni Vamsi Arrest YSR Congress

Former Gannavaram MLA Vallabhaneni Vamsi is now behind bars in the case of vandalizing the TDP office in Gannavaram and trying to threaten the complainant to withdraw the complaint.

He has been sentenced to fourteen days of Remand and he was shifted to the district jail in Vijayawada.

He was lifted from his Hyderabad Apartment on Friday morning and the first reaction from Jagan Mohan Reddy came only on Saturday evening.

Jagan was in Andhra Pradesh when this arrest happened but he did not even make an attempt to go and extend support to Vamsi.

He even attended the wedding of MLC Rama Chandra Reddy’s Son in Kadapa last evening and was all smiles.

Except for a handful of leaders who did initial Hungama, there is not much outrage in the YSR Congress over Vamsi’s arrest.

Even those leaders went back to their homes after a few hours and Vamsi’s wife Pankajasri is only fighting for her husband.

The scene on social media is even worse. People are more concerned about Vishwak Sen’s Laila than Vallabhaneni Vamsi’s arrest.

It is as if they are not even related to Vamsi and they do not even know who he is.

The outrage is many times more when a petty social media activist like Varra Ravindra Reddy was arrested.

Probably, that is the difference between a Reddy and a Kamma leader in the YSR Congress.

It appears like Kamma Leaders and their lives do not matter for the party.

In contrast, Kamma leaders like Kodali Nani and Vallabhaneni Vamsi did all that they could do to impress Jagan when in power and were in deep trouble now due to their over-enthusiasm.
