Vijay To Restart Campaign, Big Challenge Ahead!

Vijay seeks permission for Salem rally

TVK chief and matinee idol Vijay has approached the police for permission to hold a rally in Salem, Tamil Nadu. This will be his first rally after the Karur incident, where 41 people lost their lives in a stampede. The tragedy still shapes public opinion on his response.

For now, Tamil Nadu police have refused permission. Vijay plans a large rally in Salem ahead of the 2026 Assembly elections, where TVK will make its political debut. The police say they need full strength for Karthika Deepam and a Muslim protest scheduled in early December.

According to the police, these events demand heavy bandobast, and they cannot ensure security for Vijay’s rally at the same time. Many netizens say he must secure proper permissions this time to prevent any repeat of the Karur situation during public gatherings.

Vijay continues to draw huge crowds across Tamil Nadu. There are rumours that the BJP approached him for a poll alliance, but he has repeated that TVK will contest alone. His supporters say he must take decisions based on ground reality.

Vijay’s fans also warn him not to repeat the mistakes of his former mentor Prashant Kishor, whose Jan Suraaj failed to win even a single seat in Bihar. They say Vijay needs a practical strategy as he steps into full-time politics.
