It is official that the BJP will be a part of the TDP and Janasena alliance. It is also confirmed that the BJP will contest from six assembly seats and six Parliament seats in Andhra Pradesh. If any party is allying with the BJP, they are obviously risking the Minority (Christians and Muslims) Votes.
So that will bring us to the question – Which Way Minorities Will Go In Andhra?
Usually, a majority of Christians and Muslims are the voters of the YSR Congress.
In this election, Christians have two choices – YSR Congress or Congress (Via Sharmila and Brother Anil Kumar). The alliance with BJP is likely not to have much of an impact here.
Then, what about Muslims?
Be it Christians or Muslims, they should understand that the BJP is so powerful in the country today, that every party will try to remain in the good books of the BJP.
With Congress unlikely to redeem in the near future, there is no other option for the support from the Central Government.
In Andhra Pradesh, this is true in the case of the TDP and YSR Congress.
At least TDP has made its intention public. YSR Congress is having a secret romance with the BJP and is trying to fool the minority voters.
YSR Congress has supported the BJP in the CAA/NRC Bill voting which is perceived as anti-Minority.
Be it minorities or majorities, In Andhra Pradesh, TDP/YSR Congress/Janasena are the only available choices to the voters.
Minorities should realize supporting the BJP is imminent for all political parties and should come to a decision if they want to take the side that is doing it openly or on the side that is trying to hoodwink minorities with illicit relationships.
