As the AP elections are fast-approaching, the political landscape is changing rather quickly. YCP is already under the pump for the questionable arrest of CBN, lack of development, poor roads, and other aspects. Now, they are more in the firing line for irrationally attacking TDP troops.
Incidentally, a TDP activist named Vijay Gopal from Nandyal district was brutally attacked and beaten with slippers by local YCP leaders.
Reacting to the same, Lokesh tweeted “I strongly condemn the attack by the YCP psychos on Telugu Desam Party youth spokesperson Manda Vijaygopal in Kolimigundla, Nandyal district. The days are near for people to chase away every YCP Psycho with the same sandals that slapped our Vijay Gopal. These YCP psychos will be beaten with the same slippers”
“If the ruling party is doing worse than the factionists, what are the police doing? It is a shame to file reverse cases against the victims.”
Several TDP troops have fallen prey to these attacks from YCP troops and Lokesh pointed out the same recently as he revealed that a total of 60,000 police cases were filed against TDP cadre in the last 5 years. Lokesh now vows to payback for the same once TDP comes to power in 2024.
