Alla Ramakrishna Reddy, also known as RK, has once again made headlines by returning to the YSRCP just 30 days after resigning from the party.
His initial departure was marked by allegations that Chief Minister Jagan Reddy did not provide financial assistance for the development of the Mangalagiri segment.
Following Alla Ramakrishna Reddy’s return, there was a fake campaign initiated by YSRCP leaders suggesting that those who had left the party would come back.
This campaign circulated on WhatsApp, making claims about discussions between Vijayasai Reddy and Lau Krishnadevarayalu regarding the Guntur Parliament seat. Krishnadevarayu responded strongly to these rumors.
The response from Krishnadevarayalu seems to have dented the dignity of the YSRCP. Additionally, the departure of several leaders who expressed dissatisfaction with Jagan Reddy’s leadership has raised concerns about the party’s internal dynamics.
Reports suggest that Alla Ramakrishna Reddy’s return may have been part of a prearranged plan, potentially involving an internal agreement regarding ticket allocation.
However, the situation is different for others who left the party, as they were perceived as being treated poorly.
Some departed leaders appeared subservient and campaigned for their return, creating an impression that they were negotiating for their re-entry into the party.
The overall sentiment within the YSRCP appears to be lacking enthusiasm, both among the cadre and voters.
Survey reports indicate a worsening condition for the party, and there seems to be a lack of support and opposition from the people towards the government.
The attempts to negotiate with leaders who left the party, especially through public advertising, may be reflective of the challenges the YSRCP is facing in maintaining its stronghold and popularity.
