Alcohol and intoxication often play a key role in these incidents. When self control weakens, judgement suffers. Bars and similar places become high risk zones for such frauds.
There are cases where men fall into these traps. In some situations, women also become victims. Emotional decisions made in the heat of the moment often lead to losses.
Strict action is needed against bars that encourage or support such scams. Licences should be cancelled without hesitation. Establishments involved only for profit must be shut down to protect the public.
