People in Noida are furious after a video from Raj Homes PG showed the female PG operator hitting a young woman. The girl had gone only to ask for her security deposit while vacating the place, yet the operator slapped her and pulled her hair in anger.
Many said this was open goonism and asked why a simple refund turned violent. They felt the operator’s behaviour exposed a clear misuse of power and demanded strict action. Several also questioned how someone with such conduct is allowed to run a PG.
Citizens are asking authorities to shut the PG and seal it until a decision is made against the operator. Police have registered a case and started investigating. The girl has recorded her statement, and more action is expected soon.
Students and residents say PGs must be safe spaces, not places where girls face attacks. The incident shows you need stronger rules and fast action to ensure such behaviour is punished and never repeated.
