The IPL often has its way of elevating the emotions of players and the public alike. While the players try to maintain their composure, things are bound to get heated in clutch situations on the field.
Something similar happened in yesterday’s match between SRH and GT, where GT skipper Shubman Gill could be seen arguing with the umpires not once, but multiple times when the decision didn’t fall his way.
Things became particularly ugly after a wasted DRS review by GT, where Abhishek was saved due to the impact being ‘Umpire’s Call’.
Captain Gill then thought that it was okay to show his inner ‘Kohlism’ as he approached the on-field umpire to bicker about his decision.
This did not sit well with the audience, who were quick to point out Gill’s increasingly annoying attitude towards the umpires in almost every other game.
With Gill’s temper at an all-time high, it will be interesting to see if it’s just all talk or does he actually manages to convert it into runs in GT’s next match against MI.
