The opening test match between India and Bangladesh commenced today in Chennai and it has been a damp squib right from the start. India got off to a horrid start in the same.

The main men in the team, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli got out cheaply in the same and this has been a tale of horrors.
Both Rohit and Kohli, shockingly got out for six runs each. After all the expectations on them to deliver in the test series, they put on a disaster class and disappointed fans.

Chennai is anyway a turning pitch and Ashwin is bound to create havoc in the same. This is going to be the kind of stuff that would greatly disappoint Indian cricket fans.
Luckily, Ashwin is playing a champion knock with the bat as India has trekked to 228 runs(as we type this). It has to be seen how the pitch will deteriorate further in the coming innings when Bangladesh comes out to bat.

That being said, both Rohit and Kohli must regain form quickly as India is set to face New Zealand, South Africa and Australia in the latter half of the year.
