Team India announced the squad for the coming T20 cricket World Cup and it has led to several discussions already. Some of the major exclusions in the same include Shreyas Iyer and KL Rahul.
Incidentally, Rahul is paid Rs 17 crore by Lucknow in IPL but he isn’t a part of the World Cup squad. His slow gameplay has worked against him.
Shreyas Iyer who is paid Rs 12.25 crore per year by KKR also hasn’t made it to the side. It is said to see a player who was once projected to be the capital of India in the future is not in the team now.
Deepak Chahal is paid Rs 14 crore by Chennai Super Kings but he isn’t even a part of the team India setup.
Ishan Kishan gets Rs 15.25 crore by Mumbai Indians and he is the opening partner of captain Rohit Sharma here but he too didn’t get a chance in the World Cup squad.
