RCB seems to be having particularly bad luck when it comes to lifting the trophy in any of the 18 seasons of the IPL.

It seems that their luck simply doesn’t want them to win a single IPL trophy, even with a team that is in top-notch form.

The suspension of the IPL due to the Indo-Pak War proves just the same. RCB, despite having a fantastic tournament, may get their chances snatched brutally if the IPL gets cancelled or if the players go out of form after the suspension.

Ironically, it’s not the first time something like this has happened to this team. RCB were in the best of forms in 2021 as well, but that season, getting postponed due to COVID, made their players go out of form, losing to KKR in the playoffs.

With this year posing a similar challenge, it will be interesting to see if the IPL resumes at all to at least ensure a fighting chance for Virat and company.
