Playing in the Indian cricket team is not always glamorous and starry as it comes with its own set of duties and responsibilities. One such player in the Indian side who is currently under the pump is Shivam Dube.

After his wonderous performance in the IPL for CSK, Dube was roped into the Indian cricket team for the ongoing cricket World Cup. But his performance thus far has been preposterous, to say the least.
In the one game that he had a role to play(vs Pakistan), Dube scored 3 from 9 balls and dropped an important catch of Mohammed Rizwan. Ever since, he has been brutally trolled on social media.

Netizens are saying that Dube is not a worthwhile player and he has the tendency only to play on batting pitches and saying he has no skills to play on tough pitches.
Needless to say, it is not right to troll a player based on one performance and he must be given time. But if Dube doesn’t improve quickly then he wouldn’t just lose his spot in the side but also the doors will be permanently shut for him in the Indian cricket team like how Vijay Shankar was sacked after the failure in the 50-over World Cup in England.
