
In a breaking development, the star cricketers in the Indian cricket team, including captain Rohit Sharma and gun batsman Virat Kohli have decided to partake in the regional Duleep Trophy.
Duleep Trophy is a fully regional cricket tournament that is played between local teams in India. Interestingly, Kohli and Rohit decided to take part in the tournament to encourage young and budding talent here.

Incidentally, in a group A vs group B game that’s scheduled for September 5, it is happening in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh.
The most shocking thing here is that Virat Kohli is a part of this game.

If things go as planned, Virat Kohli could be playing cricket at a local district level stadium in Anantapur. This is a sight that Anantapur people wouldn’t have dreamt of.
However, the chances of this happening are low. Ideally, hadn’t it been for Virat’s participation, the game would’ve happened in Anantapur itself, as planned.

But with Kohli’s presence, the game could be moved elsewhere as there is no air connectivity to Anantapur. However, at the same time, if BCCI decides to hold the game in Anantapur anyway, we could witness Kohli playing cricket at a local stadium in the area.
