A netizen tagged GV Prakash Kumar on X and sought financial help. The person shared a photo of a deceased woman and claimed both parents had passed away, stating he needed money to perform his mother’s final rites.
GV Prakash responded by asking for the person’s Google Pay number. He reportedly sent Rs 20000 and shared a screenshot of the transaction on his X account, believing the request to be genuine.
Soon after, social media users discovered that the photo shared was taken from an old YouTube video uploaded in 2022. This revelation confirmed that GV Prakash Kumar had been misled through a fabricated story.
