After the massive success of Karuppu, Suriya is now all set to return with his next film Vishwanath & Sons directed by Venky Atluri, which is gearing up for a worldwide theatrical release on August 14th.
With only a few days left until the release, the Vishwanath & Sons team has started doing round the clock promotions for the film. After the grand audio launch function in Chennai, Suriya, along with his wife Jyothika, has now given an interview to the popular Hollywood Reporter YouTube channel.
During the interview, when the host questioned him about when we can expect the standalone Rolex film, Suriya replied that he doesn’t know what Lokesh Kanagaraj is doing. He noted that Lokesh is already busy with the Allu Arjun film and also has Vikram 2 in the pipeline.
He mentioned that he saw Lokesh in an interview saying that Rolex is there and that he has already started writing for it. However, he clarified that he doesn’t know when it will happen and that the right time needs to fall into place. These comments by Suriya regarding the Rolex film are now going viral on social media.
Following these viral comments from the actor, many people are responding that Rolex is not going to happen. They claim that from Suriya’s statement, it is evident Lokesh Kanagaraj has not even taken a single step for it, noting that Suriya himself is unaware of anything related to Rolex and feeling that Lokesh Kanagaraj is just cheating the audience about working on it.
