The arrests took place at a Redmond home, where police recovered stolen items, $17,000 in cash, and designer handbags.

Detectives began investigating in February after an increase in residential burglaries targeting Indian communities.

Surveillance footage identified three suspects in late February, revealing their method of traveling between California and Washington in rental cars, swapping license plates, and staying in short-term rental properties to avoid detection.

The suspects include Lamar E. Curtis, Londra D. Jackson, Kenji Christopher Crutchfield, Eric Darnell Netterville Jr., and Aramis Davae Williams, each facing charges related to residential burglary and possession of stolen property.

Their bail amounts range from $75,000 to $250,000. They managed to post bail and were released.

While the investigation continues, law enforcement hasn’t found evidence to label these crimes as hate crimes.

Further details revealed that the suspects had been renting a home on NE 25th Street in Redmond.

Despite facing a combined 25 counts of burglary and theft-related crimes, they were able to post bail. However, they are expected to appear in court again in a few weeks.
