As the India vs England Test series continues to be a nail-biter for cricket fans, JioHotstar is once again in a pool of complaints due to its poor streaming and presentation quality.
This isn’t the first time that JioHotstar has been trolled for live streaming, as throughout the India vs England series till now, many users have raised issues regarding the stream.
The same error was also seen during the premier Tennis event, Wimbledon, where users were irritated with irregular streams.
A user recently took to social media, stating how the coverage on JioHotstar is becoming unbearable with useless discussions and poor streaming quality.
As JioHotstar promised 4K quality, users find the quality poor and not worth the money. A user stated how Sky Sports should be included in the Free Trade Agreement with United Kingdom in order to stream the ongoing Test series in better quality.
Users further criticised the commentary team of JioHotstar who ruin their experience hence making it unbearable to watch. Others stated how the telecast quality is a bit crappy and not clear.
Fans compared the Sky Sports coverage, praising the expert panel on the channel, and also suggested JioHotstar to stream the Sky Sports feed directly on their application.
As fans are ranting over social media regarding the ongoing Test series, only time will tell if JioHotstar takes any step in order to provide a better viewing experience for the users.
Request to PM Modi.
Please include Sky Sports in our FTA with the United Kingdom. Let us stream the ongoing Test in better quality.

Yes absolutely. Far far superior coverage, with excellent discussion. Wonder why @JioHotstar can’t take the feed directly from Sky Sports. The present studio discussions are a crashing bore.

Absolute Pathetic @JioHotstar— Mohsin (@MOHSINSEIKH2) July 24, 2025
Watching on mute is rather enjoyable than listening to these commentators
