Amazon Prime Subscription

Amazon Prime Video which was once known for its affordable streaming experience and has quality content is now slowly turning into a money charging machine with multiple layered subscription plans.

What was once ₹1,499 for a full year of seamless entertainment is now beginning to feel like a starter pack.

Subscribers are now realising that the year’s plan they had of ₹1,499 doesn’t even include all the good movies, popular movies are shifted to other channels and to unlock that they had to pay additional price.

₹199/year for Eros Now, ₹499/year for Discovery+, and a raging ₹799/year for Lionsgate Play.

These aren’t optional upgrades, they’re becoming necessities if you want access to the full range of trending content.

But the boldest move yet of now is charging ₹699/year extra to remove ads, and the ads are applicable for usera who took the yearly subscription.

Users now find themselves paying for convenience, only to be met with frustrating interruptions unless they pay more.
