Actress Sara Khan has responded with dignity to Trollers who attacked her for marrying actor Krish Pathak in an interfaith union. The couple recently registered their marriage in a simple court ceremony and shared the news online.
In a heartfelt Instagram video, the Sapna Babul Ka… Bidaai actress thanked her supporters and spoke about love, faith, and respect. “Krish and I belong to different cultures, but both our religions teach love,” she said with grace.
Addressing negativity, Sara reminded Trollers that religion should never be used to insult or interfere in someone’s life. “Any relation with my God is mine, completely mine,” she said, urging people to stop judging others’ beliefs.
Sara also clarified that she and Krish sought approval only from their families and the law, not from outsiders. Their wedding celebrations will honour both faiths, including a Nikah and a Pahadi ceremony with traditional pheras.
Sharing her video on Instagram, Sara wrote, “Thank you, everyone, and love, love and only love to you all.” Krish replied with affection, quoting Shah Rukh Khan’s famous line, “Tujh mein rab dikhta hai…” from Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi.
Earlier this week, the couple announced their marriage with elegant photos and the caption, “Two faiths. One script. Infinite love,” reflecting their bond built on mutual respect and acceptance.
