Akshay Kumar’s Kesari Chapter 2 has finally got a new update as the teaser is coming out on March 24, 2025. Although it is not a sequel to the 2019 film Kesari, it is going to feature a patriotic theme that will easily connect with the audience.
A short video was also shared by Akshay through his social media handles where we can see a wall with blood dripping out in certain portions.
Apart from that, we can also hear the sound of a gun being reloaded in the background, and the following words appear on the screen – “A Revolution Painted In Blood.”
Notably, Kesari Chapter 2 is based on the life of a lawyer named C Sankaran Nair, who also served as the President of the Indian National Congress in the past.
The film will focus on Nair’s battle to find the truth behind the Jallianwala Bagh massacre.
Kesari Chapter 2 will also feature R. Madhavan and Ananya Panday in other important roles and it is arriving next month on April 18.
If we go back in history, specifically before the pandemic, Akshay’s films have done well at the box office despite getting released on non-holidays. But everyone is well-aware of the fact that the actor is going through a bad phase by delivering multiple flops since 2022.
Kesari Chapter 2 looks promising based on its main premise. The teaser and trailer have to be intense and hard-hitting so that audiences don’t have to think for another time to book their tickets.
There is less than a month left for release and since people does not know much about the film until now, a good teaser will help to create enough hype.
Although biopics are not working in Bollywood nowadays, the subject of Kesari Chapter 2 is different and this might bring a lot of profit for the makers.
