The film industry is grieving the loss of actor Ashish Warang, who passed away on September 5, 2025. His family has not confirmed the cause of death, and no official statement has been released so far.
Warang was remembered for his role in Sooryavanshi, where he played Ashish Tambe. His character brought comic relief in the first half, before an unexpected death in the second half, which left the audience emotional and shocked.
The actor also worked in Marathi cinema, often appearing in supporting roles that stayed with viewers for years. He had upcoming projects lined up for release in 2025 and 2026, including Third Eye – Teesri Aankh, Maya, Aatma, and Do Not Disturb.
Among his Marathi contributions, he appeared in Dharmaveer, directed by Pravin Tarde. He reunited with Rohit Shetty for Cirkus in 2022 and also featured in three episodes of The Family Man as MP Deshpande.
Warang’s filmography included performances in Mardaani, Ek Villain Returns, Drishyam, Romeo S3, Aathva Rang Premacha, Mumbai Saga, and many more, making him a familiar face in both Bollywood and Marathi cinema.
