While there has been considerable heat generated around Diljit Dosanjh for working with Pakistani actress Hania Amir in Sardaarji 3, the renowned singer and actor is currently collaborating with Anurag Singh on the high-profile war drama Border 2.
The much-awaited film is based on the 1971 Indo-Pak war and also features huge stars, including Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, and Ahan Shetty.
As the hate for Diljit Dosanjh continues to be on the rise over the internet, he was recently seen working on a high-energy music video shoot for Border 2 at the National Defence Academy in Pune along with the entire starcast.
The high-voltage song is composed by Anu Malik and choreographed by renowned dancer Ganesh Acharya. While there were huge speculations that Diljit Dosanjh would be dropped from the film, his presence at the song shoot has denied those rumors.
A photo also went viral over social media from the shoot showing Diljit Dosanjh in a formal uniform from the sets of the song. All four actors from the film were present in uniforms while shooting for the high-voltage track.
The film will showcase Sunny Deol as Major Kuldeep Singh, Varun Dhawan as Major Hoshiyar Singh Dahiya, Diljit Dosanjh as Flying Officer Nirmaljit Singh, and Ahan Shetty as a Naval Commandant.
As the Punjabi singer turned actor is still a part of the Border 2 plans, it remains to be seen if the fans will be able to accept him in the film or not, as it looks for a January 2026 release.
