Dhurandhar 2 Still Shooting? Aditya Dhar Under Pressure

Dhurandhar 2 film shoot scene

After the big success of Dhurandhar the second part is set to release in two months with final touches in progress. The film titled Dhurandhar: The Revenge has begun a three day patch shoot at the Golden Tobacco compound in Vile Parle Mumbai.

This time the story will focus on Arjun Rampal’s character Major Iqbal who is shown as the mastermind behind major terror attacks in India. Sources say a warehouse on the property has been redesigned to look like a safehouse.

The film shows Major Iqbal as ruthless and the sequel will explore who he is away from the battlefield. These scenes add depth to his motives and link his personal stakes to the events that follow in the story.

The second instalment will also see R. Madhavan and Sanjay Dutt return in their roles. The film is being shot and edited at the same time as post production continues along with this patch shoot.

The sequel is scheduled to release on March 19 2026 which also falls during Eid. Fans are concerned that new scenes added this late may not match the tone and style set by Dhurandhar.

A long break between shoots can change a film’s creative vision and that worries many viewers. They fear the sequel could lose its edge or feel disconnected from what made the first part work.

Some fans still feel hopeful since the gap between both parts is not very large. This gives the makers a real chance to keep the mood and storytelling in line with the original film.

This also puts director Aditya Dhar under strong pressure to meet high expectations. Viewers now wait to see if he can deliver a sequel that lives up to the impact of the first part.
