Aditya Dhar, known for Uri, is now gearing up for Dhurandhar starring Ranveer Singh in the lead along with R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Akshaye Khanna, and Sanjay Dutt. The spy thriller is set against the Indo-Pak conflict with much of the story unfolding in Pakistan.
The teaser has been well received by fans for its gripping visuals and multiple stars playing diverse characters. However, the Leh schedule of the film was disrupted when nearly 300 people, mostly crew members, fell sick due to chicken contamination.
This led to widespread criticism online, with many accusing the makers of serving poor quality food to the team. The production clarified that the food was not compromised at their end, and the problem was due to a broader chicken contamination issue in Leh.
The makers reassured that safety is their top priority and that no cost-cutting is done when it comes to the welfare of the crew. They are ensuring better precautions so that the film’s final schedule in Leh goes smoothly without further disruption.
Despite the setback, the team is determined to stick to its planned theatrical release on 5 December 2025. With its massive star cast and thrilling storyline, Dhurandhar is expected to be one of the most anticipated films of the year.
