Ranveer Singh is preparing for a strong comeback with Dhurandhar, which is set to release on December 5, 2025. The film has only minor shooting left, but an unexpected issue has come up after reports claimed that 120 crew members fell sick during a schedule in Leh.
The problem is linked to suspected food poisoning and occurred on August 17, 2025, when the team was filming an important sequence. Nearly 600 people were served food that day, and the food safety department, police, and district administration have started an investigation to determine the cause.
Authorities have already collected food samples from the location, and test results are expected soon. Thankfully, updates confirm that those affected are now recovering, although the makers have not clarified if this situation will impact the planned release date.
This film marks Ranveer’s first collaboration with director Aditya Dhar, which has already created major buzz. Industry chatter also suggests that the strong response to the teaser forced the makers of The Raja Saab to shift its release to 2026.
Dhurandhar is said to be packed with intense action, aiming to draw audiences back to theatres at a time when crowd turnout has been weak. The film is positioned as a big-screen spectacle, and fans are now waiting to see if it delivers on the hype.
