Kesari turned out to be a great film for Akshay Kumar in 2019 and made several headlines for its tremendous performance.
As fans were expecting to see him again in Kesari 2 with a new story and improved performance, Karan Johar recently took it to his Instagram talking about his upcoming venture which might be Kesari 2 and praised the filmmaker for his hard work.

“I am proud to say that our next offering is the 24th debutant filmmaker we have introduced to Hindi Cinema!” stated Karan Johar in his post. He further stated how the debutant director and collaborative producer have been working on the film for the last four years and have worked relentlessly to put up a masterpiece.
“..the director did nothing else but put his head down and work relentlessly on his film – combating pandemic delays and other unforeseen circumstances.” wrote Karan Johar.

Calling it to be one of Dharma’s proudest films so far, Karan Johar concluded by stating “I Pray for the team that the audience is colored in the color of their passion”.
Though he didn’t name any film, fans are speculating it to be Akshay Kumar’s Kesari 2 and with the post, it seems that the film’s release date might be announced soon.

Kesari Chapter 2 will showcase the real-life battle C Sankaran Nair fought in the court against the Britishers. The courtroom drama will also feature R Madhavan and Ananya Panday in prominent roles.
As things look good till now for the film, it remains to be seen how the film turns out to be ahead.
