The early teaser of the film garnered a lot of buzz over social media, and given the love audience has given to the romance genre, as seen for Saiyaara, Kartik Aaryan’s romantic drama aims to replicate a similar craze.
While it was scheduled for a Diwali 2025 release, the makers have decided to skip the Diwali release due to production delays and have postponed the official release.
This is also done strategically to maintain a significant distance from Saiyaara, which offers a similar theme and plot to Kartik Aaryan’s romantic drama.
In what is justified as a smart move by several users over the internet, the film’s delay is because a similar-themed film, Saiyaara, has already been watched by a large audience, and releasing another film in the same year with a similar plot would not be much beneficial for the makers.
Anurag Basu’s musical romantic is currently facing post-production issues as well as issues in resolving a perfect title. While the film might be titled Tu Meri Zindagi Hai, the makers are also trying to claim the copyright for the title of Aashiqui 3.
