When asked if she also cries while watching it, Preity’s response was both sweet and revealing. She said the film reminds her of a personal loss-her “first love” who died in a car accident. Later she clarified that this first love was her father, Durganand Zinta, an Indian Army officer who passed away when she was 13.
This loss made the emotional scenes of the film, especially Aman’s death, very close to her heart. She said she cried during the shoot and so did most of the cast and crew, making the scenes raw and real.
