Producer Surrenders In Rape Case

Well-known Bollywood producer Karim Morani has surrendered to police in the rape case levied against him. The producer was seen at Hayathnagar Police station, Hyderabad city outskirts, surrendering himself.

Karim Morani, a producer behind Bollywood blockbuster Chennai Express has been alleged of raping a Delhi-based 25 years old girl. He is said to have repeatedly raped her in the pretense of giving her a big break. He also threatened her that her compromised images would be put online. A case was filed on him subsequently in January.

Recently the Supreme Court rejected a bail petition filed by the producer. With no other option left Morani finally appeared before the police. The court will take further judgment.
