Rajpal Yadav has received relief after the Delhi High Court granted him interim bail until March 18. The decision came after he paid 1.5 crore to the complainant in the ongoing case.
The actor requested bail mainly to attend his niece’s wedding on February 19. The court allowed temporary relief considering the family occasion and the partial settlement made by the actor.
Recently, confusion spread on social media through fake videos showing Rajpal Yadav thanking Salman Khan. According to Aaj Tak, Rajpal’s brother clarified that neither Salman Khan nor Ajay Devgn provided any financial assistance.
While the rumours were denied, some industry members have supported Rajpal in practical ways. Akshay Kumar reportedly helped by offering roles in projects like Bhooth Bangla, Welcome To The Jungle, and Haiwaan.
Director Priyadarshan is also said to be supporting Rajpal by requesting producers to provide advance payments. This support is intended to help the actor clear his legal dues and stabilise his situation.
Even with interim bail, it is still unclear when Rajpal will completely resolve the case. For now, the focus remains on his family responsibilities and the industry’s efforts to help him return to normalcy.
