Ranveer Singh is set to make a career-changing return with spy thriller Dhurandhar, a film that can change the dynamics of his career. Having experienced a string of box-office disasters post-COVID-19, such as Cirkus and 83, and the failure of Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani at the box office, Ranveer is in the dock.
This movie, tentatively titled Dhurandhar, can be a ‘do’ or ‘die’ movie for Ranveer. Directed by Aditya Dhar, who made his National Award-winning Uri: The Surgical Strike, Dhurandhar is set to be a gripping action-drama based on real-life clandestine operations and patterned after R&AW’s golden years.

The plot, said to be based on actual real-world occurrences such as the Pakistani killing of Abu Qatal, has caused a stir. Dhar’s ability to weave actual inspirations and cinematic wonder gives depth to the narrative.
