Young actor Sachin Chandwade, known for his role in Jamtara 2, has died by suicide. He was found hanging from the ceiling fan of his Pune residence. His family rushed him to the hospital, but doctors declared him dead on arrival.
The tragic incident occurred on 24 October. Sachin was just 25 years old. He was an IT engineer by profession but had been passionate about acting since childhood. His role in Jamtara 2 brought him recognition for his natural performance and screen presence.
In Jamtara 2, he shared screen space with Sparsh Shrivastava, Amit Sial, and Aksha Pradasany. The show, centred on a rural phishing racket, earned strong praise for its gripping storytelling and realistic portrayals. Fans also appreciated Sachin’s subtle yet impactful performance.
The Marathi film industry and the Jamtara team are in shock over his sudden death. Friends and colleagues expressed disbelief, saying Sachin appeared content in both his personal and professional life. The reason behind his suicide remains unclear.
