Salman Khan Dragged to Court Again: Selling a Lie?

Salman Khan legal case updates

Salman Khan has been pulled into a court case over promotional claims for a paan masala brand. A complaint was filed in the Kota Consumer Court accusing him of promoting the product as saffron infused cardamom. The petitioner argued that saffron is extremely costly and cannot be sold in a small budget pouch.

The complainant said the ad misleads young buyers and asked for strict action. After the case was filed, the court issued notices to Salman Khan and Rajshree Pan Masala.

During the recent hearing on November 27, 2025, Salman’s lawyer Ashish Dubey responded that the actor only endorsed silver coated cardamom. He said the product does not fall under pan masala or gutka and called the complaint a form of harassment. He also said Salman is not linked to the making or selling of these products.

Another complainant demanded that the actor appear in person for signature verification. The court ordered an inquiry and the next hearing is set for December 9. Some industry voices raise a bigger question. Why are actors alone blamed when companies create and market such items? Salman has not given any public response and his legal team is handling the case.
