Salman Khan in Talks with Director Rajkumar Periasamy

Salman Khan is currently gearing up for the release of Sikandar, directed by AR Murugadoss, which is set for a worldwide theatrical release on March 30 as an Eid special.

Now, strong buzz suggests that Amaran director Rajkumar Periasamy has recently narrated a script to Salman Khan. Reports indicate that Salman liked the story, and discussions are ongoing about a potential collaboration.

However, Sikandar is facing severe backlash even before its release. Critics argue that the trailer and teaser failed to impress, and with just three days left for the release, pre-bookings remain alarmingly low.

A trade expert notes that Sikandar is struggling to sell even 1,000 tickets per hour on BookMyShow, highlighting the lack of hype around the film.

Initially, Atlee was rumored to direct Salman’s next, but he has now committed to a film with Allu Arjun. This has shifted Salman’s focus to Rajkumar Periasamy, but there is no official confirmation yet.
