Bollywood recent release ‘Sanju‘ directed by acclaimed director Rajkumar Hirani is running with a blockbuster talk across the world. Nevertheless, the movie wasn’t able to beat the highest opening record that was in the name of ‘Baahubali, The Conclusion’ (Rs. 41 crores).

The record for being the highest single-day grosser has been with Rajamouli’s movie (Rs. 46 crores). Salman Khan’s ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ came very close to the figure but failed falling short with only a few lakhs (Rs. 45.33 crores). And now, Sanju has crossed them with a small margin making it the biggest single-day grosser in Bollywood. Overall, the Ranbir Kapoor starrer has created a new opening weekend record for Hindi films, excluding Baahubali 2.
‘Sanju’ has turned out into a bigger blockbuster than the three Khans’ movies and it has all the chances to create multiple non-Baahubali’ records. Will it be able to beat Baahubali and bag at least a few Baahubali records and erase the word ‘non-Baahubali’ records? Let’s wait and see.
