A social media post has gone viral, claiming to reveal behind-the-scenes tension surrounding Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming action thriller KING. The post, shared on Reddit community r/BollyBlindsNGossip, has triggered widespread discussion across film circles and fan groups.
According to the insider post, a senior actor playing the main antagonist allegedly refused to undergo a physical transformation required for the role. The character reportedly needed a lean and muscular look to suit the film’s stylised, high-energy action setting.
The post claims the actor pushed back, arguing that a heavier appearance would make the character feel more realistic, despite an earlier commitment. This decision has allegedly caused friction on set, with some crew members describing the behaviour as unprofessional given the scale of the project.
Although the original blind did not name anyone, a follow-up comment identified the superstar as Shah Rukh Khan and the senior actor as Abhishek Bachchan. The younger actor mentioned in the discussion was named as Raghav Juyal.
The post further suggests that this tension may benefit Raghav Juyal, who currently has a small but impactful role in the film. Insiders claim writers are exploring ways to expand his screen time while he remains available for shooting.
KING, directed by Sidharth Anand, is said to feature two timelines. Reports suggest a younger Shah Rukh Khan faces Raghav Juyal, while the older version confronts Abhishek Bachchan as the primary villain.
Filming for the action spectacle is currently underway. The makers are reportedly targeting a Christmas 2026 release, though no official confirmation has been issued so far.
