Aamir Khan Faking SZP Success? PR Tricks Exposed!

Sitaare Zameen Par Box Office

Aamir Khan’s Sitaare Zameen Par is still running in theatres despite facing competition from some other Hindi and Hollywood films. Although the collections have not been up to the mark, it has been a decent number for the film.

Meanwhile, trade experts have now opened up on the unwillingness of people to appreciate SZP’s box office collections, which have been better compared to Aamir’s last film, Laal Singh Chaddha.

Taran Adarsh stated that people who prefer business have praised the film, adding that it is not easy to impress everyone despite giving the best in any situation. Taran reiterated that the box office numbers matter, and if the exhibitors and distributors are happy, nothing else is important.

On the other hand, producer and film business analyst Girish Johar said that it does not matter if a film is not acknowledged by the film fraternity or trade. He mentioned that the film will find validation if the audience gives a positive reaction.

SZP has undoubtedly managed to pull audiences, and as mentioned, the box office numbers are good. But the biggest question is whether the numbers have been inflated in any manner. Everyone knows that it was not a film that can attract single-screen audiences and the collections are not matching at all.

Now, the claims of reluctance to accept the success of SZP might be some kind of PR stunt. The film has managed to record good collections, but it is not a hit or a blockbuster. Aamir Khan is possibly trying to make it a hit by using certain methods, but instead of that, he should work on bringing better films.

Aamir needs to understand one thing that he has to make films that audiences are willing to watch. If he decides to make a film on a theme that is close to his heart, but it cannot be understood by the audience, it won’t pull audiences at all.

Aamir is a big superstar. He can work with the best directors and provide something better than SZP. Hopefully, the box office collections of SZP have been a learning lesson for him, and he will think twice before finalizing anything for his next film.
