Imtiaz Ali aims to deliver another masterpiece with his upcoming period love story featuring Naseeruddin Shah, Vedang Raina and Diljit Dosanjh.
As we reported earlier how the filmmaker looks to start the shooting for the film this summer and aims for a Valentine’s Day release next year, Imtiaz Ali has now locked a female lead for the film.

The much-awaited female lead selected by the filmmaker is Sharvari. Given the overall plot and character arc of the role, Sharvari is expected to fit the role perfectly.
The 27-year-old has been featured in a couple of films in the past few years including Vedaa, Bunty aur Babli 2 and Munjya.

While Munjya proved to be a stellar project at the box office as well as for the critics, Sharvari hasn’t delivered an extraordinary performance yet.
Imtiaz Ali always focuses on the female lead in his films and it can be seen in films like Tamasha, Highway, Jab We Met and Love Aaj Kal.

Working with such a renowned filmmaker, Sharvari has a great chance to showcase her talent which she was unable to display on her previous projects.
As Imtiaz Ali looks to portray another heart-touching love story, only time will tell if the audiences will like the venture or not.
