Dhanush’s Tere Ishq Mein is set for a grand opening on 28th November as advance bookings have been excellent. Fans are showing strong interest across major cities.
The Dhanush and Kriti Sanon starrer will release in around 3500 screens across India. It aims to be a Pan Indian project due to Dhanush’s strong South Indian market. The scale is big and expectations are high.
Fans liked the trailer and the pairing of Dhanush and Kriti Sanon. The music album by AR Rahman has also impressed many. This has helped the film build positive buzz.
With around 4k tickets being booked per hour on BookMyShow, the film is set for a double digit opening. Signs look promising for a strong start.
In the Hindi belt, Tere Ishq Mein could open with 12 to 13 crores. In the Tamil and Telugu belt, the film might collect around 6 to 7 crores. A 20 crore day one total across India is possible.
The opening numbers may go higher if the film gets positive word of mouth. A good response from fans will push collections further.
As it has a full week before the release of Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar, Tere Ishq Mein could also affect the opening of Aditya Dhar’s film if it continues to get strong appreciation.
Only time will tell if Dhanush can recreate the magic of Raanjhanaa and achieve his biggest Hindi belt opening.
