The Bollywood Spy Verse seems to be in danger, as per the reports YRF’s and Salman Khan’s “Tiger 4” is not currently under development.
Created by Aditya Chopra, the highly valued Spy Verse is under a re-consideration, after the lukewarm performance of “Tiger 3”.
Sources clarified that Aditya Chopra is still much interested in keeping Salman Khan’s character as Tiger, but after the huge failure in box office of “Tiger 3”, which was a link between the storyline of SRK’s “Pathaan” and “War’s Kabir”, it seems to shake the whole franchise for a while.
However, for now, YRF is reportedly focusing on recalibrating the larger Spy Universe, possibly with new storylines, characters, or even a fresh approach to storytelling and action.
But once which was Bollywood’s answer to the Marvels structure, and for fans of Salman Khan and the Tiger franchise it is a huge setback.
