Tiger Shroff Janhvi Kapoor

Tiger Shroff is back and this might just be the one we’ve been waiting for. Lag Jaa Gale is shaping up to be a new age Bollywood masala entertainer with Tiger Shroff, Janhvi Kapoor and Lakshya.

Directed by Raj Mehta and produced by Dharma Productions, the title revealed exclusively by Peeping Moon with Himesh Mankad is a nod to Lata Mangeshkar’s classic song and promises action, emotions and romance.

The casting has changed over time. Initially the film was to star Tiger, Janhvi and Varun Dhawan but Lakshya came on board after his impressive performance in Kill. This new trio brings fresh energy to the film.

For Tiger Shroff this is a big moment. Once a reliable box office magnet, Tiger is looking for the right project to make a strong comeback.

Before the pandemic his films used to easily cross ₹100 crore mark and he had mass appeal. If he sharpens his acting skills along with his action, there’s no doubt he can get back to being a top star.

His comeback is important and Lag Jaa Gale might just be that vehicle.

Janhvi Kapoor is on a roll with Dharma Productions, this is her 6th film with the banner.

Lakshya is being groomed for bigger roles and this is another step forward in his journey into mainstream Bollywood.

Director Raj Mehta is taking a genre shift with Lag Jaa Gale. Known for his successful feel good emotional comedies like Good Newwz and Jug Jugg Jeeyo, Raj is now venturing into action—a different kind of storytelling that demands a different kind of visual rhythm and energy.

It’s a risk but if he balances emotions with action as well as he handled comedy and drama, the film could be a big hit.

The story promises a full blown Bollywood mix—action, drama, romance, comedy and music—typical of a commercial entertainer.

Currently in pre-production the film will go on floors after monsoon and is targeting a 2026 release.

This is Tiger’s second film with Dharma after Student of the Year 2, while for Janhvi it’s her 6th. Lakshya’s inclusion means Dharma still believes in him.Now we wait and see how Raj Mehta handles action.

An emotional title with commercial elements and a director trying something new makes it even more interesting.

For now, all eyes on Lag Jaa Gale—a film that could be Tiger’s comeback and a new jodi that we will love to see.
