In a recent interview, Vijay revealed that while the team, including director Mohit Suri, was confident about the film, its scale of success came as a surprise. “Itni chalegi yeh pata nahi tha,” he admitted, reflecting on how the emotional weight of the story connected with audiences.
Interestingly, many have questioned what exactly a choreographer like Vijay did in a film with minimal dance moves. He explained that choreography wasn’t just about steps here—it was about lip-sync training, posture, and emotional mapping for the actors.
Both Ahaan and Aneet Padda underwent intense workshops under Vijay’s guidance. He emphasized that nothing in the film, including Aneet’s bikini scene, was done for cheap thrills.
“It was aesthetic, not sexual. The scene was aligned with the character’s arc and wasn’t just placed for titillation,” Vijay said.
Vijay praised both leads for syncing well with Mohit Suri’s vision. Ahaan, in particular, impressed the choreographer with his quick grasp over lip-syncing techniques—even rehearsing on other tracks just to nail the rhythm.
