There aren’t any strong rumours about part 2, but the actor assures fans that a sequel will soon be in the making, and an official announcement can be expected soon.
Brahmāstra was not considered a huge success despite earning over ₹250 crore net in India and more than ₹430 crore worldwide. The reason? The film couldn’t recover its costs.

The movie was also heavily trolled for Alia Bhatt’s role.
Among all the projects lined up for Ayan, including possible sequels, Brahmāstra 2 seems to be the one people are least excited about.

Ayan’s upcoming film, War 2, starring Hrithik Roshan, Jr. NTR, and Kiara Advani, is what everyone has their eyes on.
The first instalment, starring Hrithik Roshan, Tiger Shroff, and Vaani Kapoor, was a box office hit and the highest-grossing film of 2019.
However, that was before the pandemic. The post-pandemic box office landscape is far more challenging.
If War 2 performs well, Ayan will most likely be approached by YRF to direct the sequel to Pathaan.
If War 2 turns out a success, Ayan will have the opportunity of making Pathaan 2, starring Shah Rukh Khan. Otherwise, he would have to continue with his passion project, Brahmāstra 2, which, frankly, not many people seem interested in.
