Sometimes, a film’s journey to the audience is shaped as much by its music and marketing as by its story.

In Bollywood, especially with love stories, songs often set the tone and create early excitement.

Yet, not every film manages to strike that chord instantly, and “Saiyaara” seems to be facing this very challenge.

Despite YRF’s efforts and the launch of several songs over the past month, the music of “Saiyaara” hasn’t made a significant impact.

The tracks, while decent, haven’t become chartbusters or generated the kind of buzz that typically surrounds a big romantic release.

This lack of early excitement puts extra pressure on the upcoming trailer, which is set to release on July 8.

Director Mohit Suri himself acknowledges the difficulty in crafting a compelling trailer for a newcomers’ film, especially when it doesn’t have the advantage of a grand, larger-than-life setup.

The trailer is now positioned as the film’s best chance to capture attention and build momentum ahead of its July 18 release.

Suri’s emphasis on music as the soul of a love story is notable, but so far, the songs haven’t delivered that magic.

With fresh faces Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda leading the cast, the trailer will need to do the heavy lifting—expanding the world of “Saiyaara” and making its characters relatable.

Whether it can generate the much-needed hype remains to be seen, but the stakes are certainly high for this YRF launch.
