Blue Batch’s Sadistic Justification For Troubling Movie Events

Jagan_waltair_veerayya_Balakrishna_Pre_Release_EventYCP government is back troubling the Telugu film industry once again. After the ticket prices issue and cancellation of benefit shows, the government has now started to come down on pre-release events.

On one hand, the government says the film industry should move to AP. And at the same time, they are creating a hostile environment for big films.

Veera Simha Reddy team had to change their venue at the last minute in Ongole while the fate of Waltair Veerayya hangs in balance as the department is sitting on the Permissions.

A section of Blue media is defending the Government’s sadistic pleasure by giving sermons about why big events are not needed in the digial world and are advocating to keep the events simple and online. They say fans any way will watch these events online.

If that is the case, we arrive at the question if that is not the case for the ruling party?

Before the elections, Jagan used to cram people in narrow roads for Drone visuals and used to have Public meetings in small roads. The drone visuals used to be circulated in the social media as show of strength.

Jagan should have stopped his Odarpu Yatra and Padayatra theatrics and have online yatras siting in his Lotus Pond or Tadepalli Palace.

Things did not change even after coming to power. We are seeing holidays for schools and colleges whenever Jagan goes on district tours. Volunteers and local leaders are brining students and DWACRA women forcibly to these meetings. Why not online Telecast of such meetings for public convenience?

We have seen some YSR Congress leaders take out rallies and processions during Peak COVID.

We have seen the Government bringing ambulances, ration delivery vehicles, and waste collection autos from various districts to Vijayawada so that Jagan can flag off and take Drone visuals of the fleet. Why not direct distribution in districts so that public money can be saved?

Jagan can have publicity at will and using money from the Public exchequer but come on a producer can not promote his film using his own money.

The aforementioned argument of the blue media is nothing but an ineffective measure to sugarcoat Jagan’s Tughlaq modus operandi, opine common public.

Politicians have five years to project themselves as these large-hearted figures, but in case of filmmakers, all they get is a small period before the film’s release to hold an event or two.

They wish to celebrate the efforts of hundreds of cast and crew members by holding one event, and they are now being deprived of the same by this Jagan government. And what’s more distasteful is the blue batch lapping it up with sensless justifications.
