Keerthy Suresh is currently in the news over reports that she will make a special appearance in Nani’s upcoming film The Paradise. While the makers are yet to officially confirm it, industry buzz suggests that the actress will be seen in a special dance number.
Amid the speculation, a social media user took a dig at Keerthy, claiming that she is choosing special songs because she is no longer getting good roles. The user also mistakenly referred to The Paradise as a Kannada film.
Keerthy Suresh noticed the comment but chose not to directly respond to the backlash about her career. Instead, she picked out the one obvious mistake in the post and replied sarcastically in Tamil, essentially saying:
“Vera level ponga! Just a small correction. Nani’s films are Telugu, not Kannada.”
Rather than getting dragged into an argument about whether she has enough lead roles, Keerthy simply corrected the user’s basic mistake and moved on. Many users appreciated her sense of humor, with some calling it the perfect comeback without unnecessary drama.
Keerthy and Nani already share a strong working relationship. They previously appeared together in Nenu Local and later reunited for Dasara. Their reunion in The Paradise, even for a special appearance, has therefore generated considerable interest. There are high expectations for the song musically, aesthetically, and visually.
The film is currently scheduled for release on September 24, 2026. Interestingly, Keerthy could have another release immediately after that, with her Karthik Subbaraj directorial Dorothy, featuring music by Ilaiyaraaja, scheduled for September 25.
So, while social media users question whether Keerthy is doing special songs because of a lack of lead opportunities, she has a lineup alongside Vijay Deverakonda, Venkatesh, Kalyan Ram, and several others in the pipeline. She clearly isn’t short of work.
