Tamil web series Vadhandhi Season 2 starring Sasikumar and Anagha in the lead roles and directed by Andrew Louis, started streaming on Amazon Prime Video yesterday.
Even though no Kollywood web series has met the audience’s expectations over the last few months, ending up as terrible disappointments, Vadhandhi Season 2 had a decent pre-release buzz among the audience because the first season of Vadhandhi was a huge success.
However, many viewers, after watching Vadhandhi Season 2, are sharing positive responses, claiming that similar to Season 1, Vadhandhi Season 2 is also a solid investigative thriller series and Sasikumar has delivered a solid performance.
They suggest that although one or two out of the eight episodes feel draggy, as a whole, Vadhandhi Season 2 is gripping and engaging. Also, many people are highly appreciating the director and writer of this series, noting that Vadhandhi Season 2 is one of the best-written series in the Tamil OTT scene after a long time.
Meanwhile, only a few people are sharing mixed reactions to Vadhandhi Season 2, suggesting that it feels mediocre. They note that, despite some interesting twists in the climax, the whole series feels draggy and stretched.
However, with positive responses from the majority of the audience, it seems like Vadhandhi Season 2 is a good web series in the Tamil OTT scene after a long time.
