Now, the section of Bollywood folk has called on Pushpa 2. They are finding fault with the newly released poster of the film.

“Holding a gun while dressing as some hindu god with tilak on forehead? @alluarjun what are you trying to prove? does Hinduism promote violence only? Do we consider immoral people like pushpa our god? Stop insulting our culture, a Bollywood page that spreads boycott narrative stated on Twitter.
Pushpa 2 is still in very stages of production. Calling to boycott the film so very early, after just seeing the pre-look poster, shows the joblessness of the boycott batch in Bollywood.

Coming to their point of a Hindu god holding a gun, anyone who has even a distinct idea of Hindu gods from mythology know that they stand against evil and historically tend to resort to violence to restore normalcy. The same has been encapsulated in a fresher and striking way in Pushpa poster.
Moreover, Bollywood folk have no right calling out south filmmakers over religious aspect. South filmmakers always pay top attention to such aspects and value it above all. They might use new ways to glorify it, like in case of Pushpa poster, but the intention will never be to distort the same. It is funny to see these Hindi folk commenting on Pushpa 2 now.

There is an implication that the newly released poster of Pushpa is inspired by Chittoor Gangamma Jathara, which is a customary tradition in the area. Notwithstanding the same, this Bollywood folk is starting to call to boycott the film.
