The Tamil version of Baahubali has sparked a controversy which recently resulted in an attack on theater. Madan Karky, the writer of Tamil version of Baahubali has been quick to respond to the issue and promised action to be taken immediately.

The writer has said that he didn’t know the ‘word’ he had written as part of a dialogue in that given context to be demeaning of any sort. It never occurred to him, Karky said and if that is the case and a community has been hurt, the word will be immediately removed from the screening as soon as possible, promised the writer with confidence.
The writer said all this in an open letter directed by the offended community. This is a good step taken immediately by the Baahubali team in Tamil as it didn’t need any kind of controversy to mar its glorious run.
