SS Rajamouli’s RRR achieved the never-before feat in the history of Indian cinema by winning the Oscar for Naatu Naatu song. The film placed the Telugu film industry on a global pedestal.
A grand event was held at Shilpa Kala Vedika last night by the Telugu film industry 24 crafts to felicitate MM Keeravani and Chandra Bose at the Shilpa Kala Vedika in Hyderabad. Along with Rajamouli, many actors, directors, and political leaders attended the event.
All the people who attended the event genuinely praised the team of RRR without going overboard like we usually see in pre-release events.
During the event, MM Keeravani said, “My wife used to always say that it is enough to live like Ramoji Rao at least for one day in life (“మనిషన్నాకా ఒక్క రోజైన బతకాలి రామోజీ రావు గారి లాగా”). I was not excited to win an Oscar before, but when I went to meet Ramoji Rao, he told me that I have to get the Oscars to India. If Ramoji Rao is giving so much value to the Oscars, then I have to win it. Only then I started to feel excited and nervous about the Oscars.”
That is the kind of effect Ramoji Rao has on people to get inspired and motivated to achieve even the impossible.
